Spanish esports organisation Team Queso has partnered with Amazon streaming platform Twitch to highlight the team’s efforts across mobile esports.

Additionally, the organisation has entered into a partnership with digital media licensing provider ESPAT Media for representation and distribution of its content.

Team Queso’s agreement with Twitch aims to bring more mobile esports content to the platform. The deal is said to involve Team Queso content creators who will receive Twitch Partner status and occasional home page placement to ‘create even bigger communities’ within the mobile esports space. The deal is said to last through July 2021.

Team Queso Co-Founder and President Álvaro G. Buitrago told Esports Insider: “We are thrilled to be working side by side with Twitch with the objective of activating the mobile community inside the platform. We are a leading team in mobile esports and Twitch is the leading platform in esports and gaming content, I could not think of a better synergy.”

ESPAT, the esports-dedicated media licensing platform founded in 2018, has entered an agreement with Team Queso to access the organisation’s digital media assets. This includes the syndication of media resources across a variety of titles Team Queso is active in, including Clash Royale, Brawl Stars, Clash of Clans, and PUBG Mobile, available through the ESPAT licensing platform.

ESPAT Co-Founder Mario Prosperino commented in a release: “ESPAT is looking forward to this partnership with Team Queso. We are very enthusiastic about the future of content capture and digital media distribution within mobile esports and what better way to kick off our entry into this space, than with the 2020 Clash Royale champions.”

Team Queso becomes the third esports organisation to strike a media rights deal with ESPAT this month. In December, both Misfits Gaming Group and Talon Esports announced ESPAT’s Creative Collective as a partner in similar media licensing deals.

Esports Insider says: Three deals in just a few weeks time is a fairly strong indicator of ESPAT’s vision and value proposition for its licensing platform and what it can offer its partners. Based on the frequency of these agreements, we wouldn’t be surprised to see a few more announced in the coming months.
