Indian esports and gaming company Skyesports has unveiled its events roadmap for 2022.
The roadmap details a range of tournaments taking place across the year. This includes the second Skyesports Mobile Open, which features a prize pool of Rs. 1 crore (~£99,038).

Over the next 12 months, the company will host tournaments across multiple titles including VALORANT, Dota 2, League of Legends, Free Fire and Real Cricket. In addition, Skyesports has revealed its intention to expand into new regions following its expansion into South Asia last year.
Shiva Nandy, CEO of Skyesports, spoke on the company’s 2022 plans: “We couldn’t be more excited to share the roadmap for 2022 as we look forward to another remarkable year for Skyesports. The stakes are getting significantly higher with prize pools being increased across the board and a return to LAN events. We will also be setting our foot into more regions as Skyesports continues to set a benchmark for the esports industry.”
Alongside the events mentioned in the roadmap, the Skyesports Tri-Series will take place after the Dubai-based event was delayed. The 2022 running of the Grand Slam is underway, with players competing in Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) and VALORANT for a $40,000 (~£29.597) prize pool split across the titles.

The full list of Skyesports events featured in the 2022 road includes Skyesports Grand Slam 2022 S1 (February – March), Skyesports Pro League (March – April), Skyesports League 2022 (April – May), Skyesports Championship 4.0 (August – October), Real Cricket Championship 2022 (September – October), Skyesports Grand Slam 2022 S2 (October), Skyesports Mobile Open (November – December).
Esports Insider says: Having acquired over 280,000 users registered to compete in 2021, Skyesports is in a solid position to grow through the events that it has included within its 2022 roadmap.
