Michael ‘Shroud’ Grzesiek is a former CS:GO pro, but these days he’s better known as a streamer – particularly for his inhuman players in games like PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds and Apex Legends. A recent scooter accident has put him out of commission for the foreseeable future, but don’t worry – Shroud has his priorities straight and has assured fans that his aiming arm is undamaged.

Shroud tweeted earlier this week that there’d be “no stream today boys… blame the scooter.” Despite that pretty jokey way of delivering the news, the injury is serious enough to require elbow surgery, which the streamer says might put him “out of commission for a bit.” He followed up that tweet with “It’s my left arm, don’t worry, the aim’s still there. Movement might be a little slow as I recover.”

We got a bit more detail on what happened thanks to Shroud’s housemate, fellow streamer Justin ‘Just9n’ Ortiz. “He hit the brakes too hard, and he flew over the handlebars about 10 to 12 feet, onto the asphalt,” Just9n says on stream, as noted by Kotaku. “Now, being Mike, he’s looking out for his right arm, he fell on his left arm – all of his weight.”
