On the doorstep of the LEC playoffs, Riot has unveiled the 2019 Spring All-Pro-Team. An ideal team in which G2 Esports captures three spots. The side could have gotten four places if Wunder didn’t show weakness in the top lane.

  • Top: Cabochard – Team Vitality
  • Jungle: Jankos – G2 Esports
  • Midlane: Caps – G2 Esports
  • ADC: Kobbe – Splyce
  • Support: Mikyx – G2 Esports
  • G2 Stars shine

During the pre-season, the two fearsome signings of the samurai seemed to turn the team into an indestructible weapon. Except for a few moments of relative mortality, it seemed that the side was going to be unstoppable. That is why both Caps and Mikyx are in this team of stars, accompanying the ever decisive Jankos. In the top lane, Cabochard has won a fierce duel against Wunder, as he was quite clinical for Vitality that will fight again for the title. While Kobbe, the bottom lane star of the snakes, after another wonderful season, has been voted as the star ADC and he truly deserves this title.

No doubt it’s is somewhat surprising to see the absence of members of Origin. The team is runner-ups of the regular season in the LEC. Patrik’s name does not appear on any of the top three teams. Although Nukeduck does appear in the second team of stars, behind Caps by significant points. However, the ‘surprise’ of the season is undoubtedly selfmade, who is on the verge of becoming the best jungler of the year. Don’t be surprised if you see him winning individual awards in a few months.

Selfmade, the unofficial rookie of the LEC

We are still not aware the winner of the two great individual prizes of the season. Everything points to Caps taking the trophy to MVP of the spring split. Voted up by his former teammates, the Danish mid laner is well on its way crowned as the most valuable player of the season.

We also seem to know that who will take the title of the rookie of the season, and that is the Polish Oskar Boderek. The ex-jungle MAD Lions has shown that he can take the fights to the opponents against all odds. He is possibly the core element is SK Gaming’s qualification to the Playoffs. Oskar was the most valuable player for SK on seven occasions. Undoubtedly, Selfmade is our MVP of the regular season.

It seems difficult to compete against the veterans of the league for major distinctions. But there was a margin of only 8 points that separate him from Jankos for entering the best team of the season.

The kickoff of the Playoffs of the LEC Spring Split League of Legends will take place on next Friday. The first quarter-final will be the clash between Vitality and Fnatic. It will be exciting to see who will lift the title of LCS Spring 2019 in a few weeks time. Will Fnatic pose another exceptional run or will G2 and Caps lift the title with ease? Only time will tell.
