The organisations join Jesse Lingard’s JLINGZ esports on the platform to bolster the amount of esports content fans can interact with.

The video platform has announced that fans can expect a number of different content types from the organisations in the future.

Andy Meikle, Founder and CEO of Recast, commented: “We are delighted to welcome these forward-thinking esports teams, who have some of the brightest names in the sport, to Recast to bring fans closer to the content they want.

“We are already seeing great success for our esports partners, and are committed to ensuring this only increases. We are thrilled that each of the teams trusts us to help them capitalise on the potential of the fast-growing esports industry when combined with a solution like ours.”

Recast is a video platform that aims to provide sports fans with the ability to directly support their favourite teams by watching content on their channels. Although initially focused on traditional sports (Recast is a partner of Queens Park Rangers and the World Curling Federation), Recast now has four esports organisations from the UK as partners, as well as a Dutch FIFA academy.

Joe Creasey, Head of Content for LDN UTD, added: “At LDN UTD, we are always looking for innovative ways to push our creators and social values out to a wider audience and, with the new tech Recast has created and their foray into promoting esports, alongside the credibility of the founding team, it was a no-brainer for LDN UTD to host some exclusive content on Recast. We look forward to an engaging partnership.”

Esports Insider says: Partnering with four rising esports teams is a bold move for Recast as the company dives deeper into esports. The success of this partnership truly depends on the quality of content produced and how much added value there is for fans.
