Statistically, Fortnite is still the best Battle Royale Game. However, instead of calling the shots, they are taking notes from their competitors. On their official Twitter, Epic has announced that they will introduce “reboot vans” into the game. These vans will be used to revive teammates that have been eliminated from the game. It can be easily concluded that Epic has copied possibly the best feature of the Apex Legends. The Respawn titles hosts “ Respawn Beacons” which are used for a similar purpose.
Data miners leaked this feature in the games files of the Fortnite. Apart from all the arguments, overall, this is an incredible feature that solves of the most frustrating problems. That is the early elimination from the game when you couldn’t even get a pistol. In duos, after the death, the team was broken and the eliminated player will then go on to find a new game.
We’re introducing the Reboot Van in v8.30! Learn all about it in our latest Dev Update.

Not many of us want to watch our friend play for 20 minutes. Compared to Apex, in Fortnite it is quite hard in the early stages. Since when a teammate get knocked down early, they start crawling towards their team. This makes it quite hard for the team to fight and win games. Now with the reboot van introduced, you can simply pick the reboot card of your fallen teammate and take it to the reboot van for revival.
Copying Apex Legends Again?
Nonetheless, in order to avoid potential lawsuits, there are some limitations to the reboot vans. Since in the entire game, one team can use them only once. So you should be wise when using the vans and should revive the “stronger” teammate for better odds of victory. Another thing is that the number of vans is quite limited. So it means all them could easily get swallowed in the storm come mid game. But don’t be surprised if you see teams rushing in the storm with reboot cards to revive their compatriots.
Yeah you can copy my homework but make sure you change it a little so the teacher cant tell pic.twitter.com/fIoOHujqVo

This is not the first time that Epic is picking up stuff from Respawn. Since its launch back in February, Apex Legends saw its another prestigious feature copied by Fortnite. It was incredibly designed ping system of the games that allowed to communicate with your teammates without any verbal communication. It simply highlighted not only the enemies but the dropped loots, guns, shield, and everything. You could even point out your next destination for your team to conquer just after games. But honestly just like tech companies, its a battle of not who does it first, but who does it better.
Fortnite has previously copied stuff from PUBG and wiped them out the race for the top spot. Now they are up against a Respawn title, that know how to make the most of others’ innovations. So let’s see if Apex has what it takes to finally end the dominance of Fortnite.
