Watch out, retro enthusiasts.

Hackers, as you might recall, wasted no time getting various retro games up and running on the Super Mario Bros. Game & Watch. First, it was id Software’s classic first-person shooter DOOM and this was followed by titles like Pokémon, The Legend of Zelda, Super Mario Bros. 3 and even Contra.

The mastermind behind it was a talented hacker known as ‘stacksmashing‘, but in their latest social media update, it seems they’ve run into some trouble. According to a Twitter post, they’ve received a notice from YouTube, informing them that Nintendo isn’t impressed and has made some copyright claims on two of their G&W hacking videos.
