The OGA Dota 2 Pit Minor is all set to take place on the Croatian soil. Let’s have a look at the teams competing in the group stage.
Group A
We believe that the team to win the Group A is Ninjas In Pyjamas. The team led by former TI winner, PPD is having a satisfactory season. They are currently in solid contention for the TI9 invite, even though they failed to qualify for some DPC competitions. The team currently sits at 7th place in the rankings after earning 1570 DPC points. If NiP manages to win this Minor then they will surely secure the spot for the TI.
GGWP Goblin Legs
We finish the series 2:0 and we qualify for the OGA Dota PIT Minor 2019 in Split, Croatia!

Apart from NiP, Gambit Esports is also a solid contender of the title. The team is simply remarkable when it comes to delivering big results in the Minors. They finished at 2nd place at the StarLadder’s ImbaTV Minor and the Bucharest Minor. In the StarSeries, they were beaten by the 4th ranked team of the DPC, Vici Gaming. They surely have the best odds to win this OGA Minor.
The Chinese team led by Monet is also competing in Croatia. It is no shame to admit that RNG is the weakest team of the competition. Yet we believe that they have the potential to surprise us.
BOOM ID is the last candidate of the Group A. The are unarguably the best team in Indonesia. In March they won the ESL Indonesia Championship Season 1. After that, they finished at 5th place in the qualifiers of the Paris Major, getting beaten by Mineski. It will interesting to see this team competing against renowned Dota 2 teams in the world.
Group B
The only NA team that is currently on a hot streak is Forward Gaming. The recent success of the team can be attributed to the duo YawaR and CCnC. Both players have been quite exceptional in their roles and helped FWD rose from the ashes. We might just see them sneaking into the top 12 ranks of the DPC. But first, they will have to win this Minor. Forward Gaming certainly has the quality and potential to reign supreme in Croatia.
It’s official – we’re headed to Croatia! We take the series against @Team_JStorm 2-0 and secure our spot at the @OGADotaPIT minor! GGWP, J.Storm!

EHOME is the 2nd Chinese team competing in the OGA Minor. They had a decent start to 2018-2019 DPC campaign. Yet they were unable to build on the results. In March, they added Ferrari_430 to their lineup. The champions of the Bucharest Minor now have three former TI winners in their ranks. This should boost their moral to shine in Croatia.
Alliance is arguably the most unpredictable team in the competitive landscape of Dota 2. They can win against VP in one game and lose to teams like Winstrike in the other game. The team recently recruited Madara to its ranks and will aim to finish strong in Croatia. We would love to see the former TI champions competing against the best teams in the world.
The last team of Group B is Majestic eSports. We don’t know much about the team, yet it will be interesting to see how far they will progress in the competition.
