NBA 2K League has brought in Raynor Gaming as its official gaming chair partner ahead of its second season.
Raynor Gaming will produce branded chairs for the league, first debuting during the 2019 NBA 2K League Draft before being used throughout the regular season and in training rooms.
Brendan Donohue, Managing Director of NBA 2K League commented on the deal: “Raynor Gaming is an industry standout whose dedication to providing the best gamers in the world with the most advanced gaming chairs on the market makes them an ideal fit for the NBA 2K League.”
NBA 2K League is also partnered with the likes of Twitch, SCUF Gaming, HyperX, Intel, Alienware, State Farm, New Era, and Champion. Just last month the league also entered a multi-year sponsorship deal with telecommunications company AT&T.
Marc Fries, President of The Raynor Group added: “We are excited to join forces with the NBA 2K League. With their commitment to excellence in all areas of the game, and our passion to create best-in-class gaming chairs, they are the perfect partner for our company.”
This isn’t Raynor Gaming’s first rodeo in the NBA 2K League, having already partnered with both 76ers GC and Cavs Legion GC. It’s also in partnerships with Overwatch League franchise NYXL and multi-title organisation Dignitas.
Esports Insider says: Gaming chair partnerships are commonplace in esports at the moment – and rightfully so – so this isn’t a mind-blowing deal but it’s still a good sign for fans of the league. It’s built a solid roster of partners over the off-season which shows that there’s faith in the league from a plethora of companies.
