Global esports and entertainment company Misfits Gaming Group (MGG) has entered into a partnership with gaming hardware company ASUS Republic of Gamers.
The ten-month-long agreement will see ASUS ROG become the official hardware supplier of Misfits Gaming, Overwatch League franchise Florida Mayhem, and Call of Duty League franchise the Florida Mutineers.

ASUS ROG will provide all three teams with Strix-branded PCs and laptops while MGG will create a variety of content for the hardware company to use.
Galip Fu, ASUS ROG Global Marketing Director for PCs and Laptops, spoke on the deal: “Misfits Gaming Group features some of the most exciting talents in esports and we’re thrilled to supply these champion athletes with the latest ROG gear. We design gaming technology that performs at the absolute cutting-edge, and it’s an honour to see players of this calibre take full advantage of what our most powerful hardware can do.”

The deal means ASUS ROG becomes the third partner of MGG, joining North American telecommunications company Frontier Communications and bone marrow and blood stem cell registry Gift of Life. In October 2020, the organisation also announced Martin ‘Deficio’ Lynge as Director of Misfits Gaming Europe.
Vas Roberts, Vice President of Partnerships at Misfits Gaming Group, also commented on the partnership: “ROG is the world-renowned leader in gaming technology and has such a deep history in esports. We’re looking forward to kicking off the 2021 season with ROG powering Florida Mayhem, Florida Mutineers and Misfits Gaming. Welcome to the family!”
Esports Insider says: The partnership between the two parties looks to be beneficial for both entities with all three of MGG’s rosters receiving PCs and laptops, whilst ASUS ROG boosts its content opportunities. Moreover, the deal sees MGG add to its sponsorship portfolio ahead of a highly anticipated 2021 for the company given the growth of esports, in terms of interest, last year.
