MAD Lions becomes the latest organisation to join forces with ESPAT, following the likes of Hong Kong-based organisation Talon Esports and Team Queso, which entered partnerships with the licensing provider in December 2020.
Jorge Schnura, Co-Founder and President of MAD Lions, commented on the agreement: “Growing our team brands internationally requires promoting our franchises and players to a wider audience and this new partnership with ESPAT will help us do just that.”

MAD Lion’s currently fields rosters in League of Legends and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. In 2020, its League of Legends team finished fourth in the LEC Summer Playoffs, securing €20,000 (£17,847) in prize money.
Mario Prosperino, the Co-Founder of ESPAT, also spoke on the deal: “ESPAT is looking forward to this partnership with the MAD Lions. As one of the prominent organisations in Europe, our subscribers will now have immediate access to compelling content directly from their favourite MAD Lions stars competing in the League of Legends, and CS:GO.”
Esports Insider says: ESPAT is continuing to expand its portfolio of clients by joining forces with MAD Lions. The deal doesn’t look to be anything out of the ordinary, but, the trend of organisation signing its media assets to ESPAT is continuing.
