The well-known and controversial Youtuber Logan Paul stated that he was once addicted to the MMORPG World of Warcraft. He agrees with Prince Harry, who recently suggested that games like Fortnite can trigger addiction among teenagers. He sees Fornite and other game as a real danger to the youth.

Recently, Prince Harry said the online shooter Fortnite is outlawed. Since he believes the game will trigger addiction and aggressive attitude among teenagers. For that Tweet, he had to take a lot of criticism, but surprisingly Logan supports the Prince.

YouTuber agrees with Prince Harry

The successful but also controversial Youtuber Logan Paul was questioned by the magazine TMZ, about his attitude towards the statement of Prince Harry. His answer surprised everyone as he explained that he himself was an addict of World of Warcraft. The game could have ruined his whole life. After spending long hours on WoW he learned the true meaning of addiction. He further said that he was lucky to quit the game on time.

According to Logan Paul, computer games can be just as addictive as drugs and alcohol. Therefore, he believes that Prince Harry is right with his statement to Fortnite. If a teenager falls into the hole of video games, then he can potentially ruin his/her life.

Fortnite Madness

Apart from Logan Paul and Prince Harry, another man agrees with the Fortnite addiction. A pediatrician from Boston has spoken in an interview about several extreme situations. Interestingly all of the incidents are linked to one of the most popular games, Fortnite. But the pediatrician also highlights that players are not only to blame. Since the parents don’t take matters into their own hand and when things go south, they blame the game.

In late 2018, there were several reports in about Fortnite, which caused addiction problems. Some of the young players even had to go into therapy because of that. Now pediatrician Dr. Michael Rich from Boston has spoken in an interview and talked about several extreme situations that have happened in the past because of a Fortnite ban. The pediatrician works at the Boston Children’s Hospital as head of the Interactive Media and Internet Disorders Department.

Devastating results

In the recent reports, a child recently destroyed the windscreen of his parents’ car because they banned him from playing Fortnite. The young player was looking for his game console, which was taken away by the parents, and assumed that the console is in the vehicle. In other cases, children ditched the school, no longer sleep or hardly do any sports. However, the doctor makes it clear that all the blame should not be put on the Fortnite players. He pointed out that the parents don’t look after their children properly. He further says that it is not only the children but in some cases grownups had to suffer the wrath of the shooter.

Just recently, the doctor had a situation where parents were close to divorce because of the child’s Fortnite problem. With over 250 million registered players worldwide, Fortnite is currently one of the most successful games on the market.
