Kal Hourd, CEO and Co-founder of Guild Esports, spoke on the deal: “We’re delighted to be partnering with Razer, a leading brand that has built a global audience and has been a staple in the esports community for many years. With a shared vision of growth and providing value to our community, we very much look forward to our partnership with Razer.

“This demonstrates the quality of partners we continue to attract because of our fan-focused strategy, team performances and relationship with a fast-growing, young, and passionate audience.”

Razer becomes the fifth partner of Guild Esports, joining the likes of peripherals manufacturer HyperX, cryptocurrency exchange Bitstamp and restaurant chain Subway on its roster.

Flo Gutierrez, Global Esports Director at Razer, also commented: “Guild has established a strong presence in the esports world with great teams and a distinctive audience. Together, we are going all out in ensuring fun-packed and memorable experiences to gamers and esports followers alike.”

Esports Insider says: Razer’s expansion into the gaming chair market is proving successful, with Guild Esports becoming its fifth partner since launching its Iskur chair. For Guild, adding another household name to its roster shows it’s continuing to attract plenty of interest, whether it’s from endemic or non-endemic brands.
