European esports organisation G2 Esports has announced a partnership with hardware brand Kingston FURY

The partnership will see Kingston FURY become the G2’s official gaming memory and storage provider.

As a part of the deal, the brand will equip G2’s athletes with its high-performance DRAM and SSD drives. According to the release, both brands will also collaborate on a range of content.

Craig Tilmont, Senior Director of Marketing at Kingston, spoke on the announcement: “Kingston recently reintroduced its memory products with the launch of Kingston FURY, engineered with gamers and enthusiasts in mind, so we’re very excited to welcome G2 to the Kingston family.

“We’re looking forward to working with Carlos and G2 once again, while also reintroducing ourselves to their fans.”

Kingston FURY joins the esports organisation’s large roster of partners which includes the likes of Ralph Lauren, Logitech, BMW, Red Bull, Adidas, Betway, Mastercard and Secretlab, among others.

Carlos Rodriguez, Founder and CEO of G2 Esports, commented: “Kingston has been with me for the longest time, both as partner and hardware that I have religiously used to game and work with for years.

Esports Insider says: After selling off its HyperX brand to HP and signing deals with Virtus.pro and Cloud9, Kingston continues to expand its esports commercial portfolio. With three prominent esports organisation’s onboard, the company is looking to rebuild its presence in the esports space through its new gamer-oriented brand.
