Global esports and gaming agency Freaks 4U Gaming and exhibition organiser Deutsche Messe have teamed up to organise DreamHack Hannover in December 2022.
According to the release, this is part of a new multi-year partnership signed between Freaks 4U Gaming and Deutsche Messe to bring ‘the leading gaming lifestyle experience’ to Hannover, Germany.

As a result, the event will feature a LAN area, cosplay competitions, music, and influencer appearances, as well as esports tournaments. Freaks 4U did not disclose any more esports details about Dreamhack Hannover.
This will be the first DreamHack event in Germany since DreamHack Leipzig took place in January 2020.
Michael Haenisch, CEO of Freaks 4U Gaming, commented: “DreamHack is undisputedly the most iconic event synonymous with the gaming community, it’s a momentous milestone for Freaks 4U Gaming to be realising DreamHack in Germany in the coming years.

The DreamHack news follows on from Freaks 4U Gaming securing a license to operate national ESL competitions and DreamHack festivals in Germany and France. Freaks 4U Gaming also recently agreed on a data partnership with Shikenso Analytics.
