Fortnite Battle Royale received the patch v8.30 on Thursday evening on PS4, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch, Android and iPhone (iOS). The main attraction of the update is the Reboot Van, a system capable of resuscitating squad members that have already been eliminated. The system is identical to the one in Apex Legends, Battle Royale, which was admired for the mechanics of reviving members of the squad. Here’s how to use the new feature in Fortnite to recover your allies.

Step 1. Look for the reboot card of your squadmate. The object will be available on the spot where your partner was eliminated. To find it just keep an eye on the item marked by a blue symbol with numbers that indicating your distance from the card.

Step 2. Take the card and go to the reboot van. It is worth remembering that the player has only 90 seconds to be able to collect the card. You can also pick multiple cards, in case your multiple squad members get taken down since the cards do not take up space in the inventory.

Step 3. After collecting the reboot card you will need to look for the van. After finding it, press the big red button at the back and initiate the process to bring your partner back to the game. The process takes ten seconds, so you will have to be cautious.

Step 4. After being resurrected, the player will appear on top of the van, but he/she will have any old items. The van will be disabled for some time, making it impossible to resurrect any player on the map.

DrDisRespect Arrives in Fortnite

The developers of Fortnite presented a Stealth Reflex skin, specially created for the NVIDIA advertising campaign. Fans of the game immediately noticed that the new skin is very similar to the American streamer Herschel “DrDisRespect” Beahm, as he has the same black jumpsuit and red body armor. When Beahm saw the new skin, he praised the game developers and jokingly said that he would sue them.

Initially, only the participants of the NVIDIA advertising campaign could receive the Stealth Reflex. This and other exclusive skins were distributed to the owners of new video cards of the company. Later, Epic Games accidentally added the skins to the in-game store Fortnite, after which it immediately lost its uniqueness. This did not please users who bought the video card just for the sake of an exclusive image. To correct the error, Epic Games ” repainted ” the kit in red and black colors.

Fortnite received Arena Mode with ranked matches on March 27, along with the v8.20 update. Arena mode matches are only available for accounts starting at level 15 of Battle Royale. This mode is separated into three leagues: Open, Competitors and Champions. In addition, players who reach the Champions division will have a chance to compete for the Fortnite World Cup, which takes place from April 13.
