American esports and gaming company FaZe Clan has announced a partnership with mechanical keyboard brand Ducky.
As a result of the partnership, Ducky and FaZe will collaborate on a FaZe-branded mechanical keyboard that will be sold in May 2022.

Founded in 2008, Ducky is a Taiwanese manufacturer of high-end gaming keyboards. The company is known for its small form-factor keyboards.
This is the first time FaZe Clan is putting its name on a keyboard. Both entities are set to produce a custom version of the Ducky One 3 Mini mechanic keyboard. The board will feature FaZe Clan branding and will be available for a limited time at the FaZe Armory, the company’s pop-up store in Los Angeles.
Derek Chestnut, FaZe Clan’s VP of Consumer Products, said: “We are extremely excited to partner with Ducky to release our first official FaZe Clan keyboard. Many of our founders and talent are longtime fans of Ducky, making this such an authentic way to continue to build out our consumer products business with Ducky’s high-tech gaming products and electronics.”

FaZe is not the first American esports brand to enter the boutique keyboard market. 100 Thieves, another known gaming and esports company from the United States, purchased keyboard manufacturer Higround in 2021. As a result, the manufacturer produced a limited-edition 100 Thieves keyboard.
Esports Insider says: Esports brands are known to partner with peripheral manufacturers, but collaborations like this one are more tied to the gaming audience, rather than aspiring players. The keyboards that are made as the result of partnerships are viewed as collectibles, in a similar way that limited-edition sneakers or apparel drops work.
