Pinnacle Cup Championship Finals set to take place in Lund, Sweden
Esports bookmaker Pinnacle, data platform GRID Esports and the City of Lund revealed that the Pinnacle Cup Championship will commence in Sweden from June 8th – 11th.
The Pinnacle Cup Championship is the culmination of the bookmaker’s tournament series. The CS:GO event will take place live, in front of spectators at Sparbanken Skåne Arena, across four arena days.

West Virginia passes esports betting bill amendment
West Virginia lawmakers have passed House Bill 4826, an amendment to the state’s legal sports betting industry which allows operators to accept wagers on esports events.
The bill classes esports within the sporting discipline, allowing West Virginia residents to wager on competitive gaming events in the same capacity they would a traditional sports match.
Rivalry adds mobile esports to betting offering
Esports betting and media company Rivalry has added a variety of mobile esports to its sportsbook offering.
The bookmaker’s betting offering currently includes Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, League of Legends: Wild Rift, Call of Duty Mobile, PUBG Mobile and Free Fire. The company also revealed that additional titles will be introduced in the future.
Challenger secures seed round from SeventySix Capital
Esports wagering platform Challenger has secured a seed investment round, led by SeventySix Capital.
The investment round will be used to expand Challenger’s offerings to Xbox and PlayStation consoles, whilst also introducing its contests to new game titles.
Esports Entertainment Group completes public offering, raises $13.6m
NASDAQ-listed gambling company Esports Entertainment Group (EEG) has announced the completion of its public offering of common stock and warrants.
According to the release, the company raised $13.6m (~£10.16m) from the offering.The amount raised is expected to go towards building its working capital reserves and enabling the firm to repay part of its outstanding debt.
Real Luck Group appoints Benn Timbury as COO
Real Luck Group, the owners and operators of esports betting platform Luckbox, has appointed Benn Timbury as Chief Operating Officer.
In his role, Timbury will lean on his past experience scaling igaming businesses and driving both consumer and enterprise partnerships and acquisitions. His most recent role was with the Gibraltar-based Lottoland Group.
SIS teams up with Oddin.gg for 24/7 CS:GO betting content
Multi-channel live betting services supplier Sports Information Services (SIS) has secured a partnership with the esports live-odds provider Oddin.gg.
As a result of the deal, SIS has expanded its Competitive Gaming esports betting product with the launch of 24/7 CS:GO events, which will be produced in-house by an SIS team in Manchester.
