The past 24 hours have been pretty crazy in the world of CS: GO. Especially if you consider the numerous amount of roster changes among the teams. Let’s take a look at which teams went through roster changes.

Winstrike

Vladislav “bondik” Nechyporchuk replaced Yana “Rahkonen” waylander in the CS: GO lineup of Winstrike Team. The club made this announcement on the official site. The first match of the updated roster will be the confrontation with Virtus.pro on GG.Bet Sydney Invitational. The meeting will take place on on March 27.

Nechiporchuk’s last team was Gambit Esports, where he competed from December 2018 to March 2019. With the team, bondik failed to compete in the major after taking fourth place in the CIS Minor Championship – Katowice 2019. Before that, the Ukrainian represented FlipSid3 Tactics, HellRaisers and TyLoo. With HellRaisers, Nechyporchuk took 5-8th place on FACEIT Major – London 2018. Rahkonen has been representing Winstrike since October 2018.

With Nechiporchuk, the team qualified for the Intel Extreme Masters Season XIII – Katowice Major 2019, where it did not overcome the preliminary stage and took 17-19 place. Replacing the player was the second change for Winstrike in March. Previously, the team parted way with the coach Dmitry “iksou” Mikhailichenko, and the duties of the coach were granted to the tactical assistant Daniel “pipsoN” Meshcheryakov.

Vega Squadron

Former Runtime.gg members Denis “seized” Kostin and Alexander “scooby xie” Marynick will continue their career as part of Vega Squadron. This was announced by former professional player Alex OverDrive Biryukov. In addition to the duo, the updated roster will also include Dmitry “jR” Chervak and Igor “crush” Shevchenko. The name of the fifth participant is yet to be made by the organization.

In late February, Leonid chopper Vishnyakov left the team, who later joined Team Spirit. In early March, Vega Squadron announced that it was ready to consider proposals for the transfer of representatives of the team. The organization also added that it will look for options to strengthen the line-up.

Seized and scoobyxie represented Runtime.gg from January to March 2019. The team went to the CIS Minor Championship – Katowice 2019 but did not get to the major. Prior to that, Kostin played for Natus Vincere, FlipSid3 Tactics and Gambit Esports. While Marynich played at k1ck eSports Club.

OpTiC Gaming

OpTic Gaming will remove Rene “cajunb” Borg and Jacob “JUGI” Hansen from the active lineup. This was announced by RealSport portal with reference to its own sources. Earlier, Jarek DeKay Lewis said that Mattias “MSL” Lauridsen and Nikolay “niko” Christensen from Rogue will join the team, and other media portals added that Marco Snappi Pfeiffer will be excluded from the team.

Borg has represented OpTic since February 2018, and Hansen since April. With them, the team took second place at cs_summit 3 finished in the top 4 on StarSeries i-League CS: GO Season 6. They also qualified for FACEIT Major – London 2018, where elimination was their fate in the preliminary stage finishing at 17-19 place.
