The best CS: GO team in the world, Astralis, received the first invite of the BLAST Pro Series Madrid. This news was announced on Twitter by one of the stars of the team, Dupreeh. This will surely be exciting news for the fans as they will see the best teams in the competitive world of CS: GO.

The tournament is all set to light up the streets of the Spanish capital. The organizer revealed that the prize pool of the competition is $ 250,000 dollars with the winner taking $ 125,000. The competition on May 10 and 11 will take place at the Madrid Arena. The Arena has the capacity to hold around 12,000 supporters. This will be an exciting opportunity for Spain to further promote CS: GO in the region.

RFRSH Entertainment is the organizer of the tournament, which not only owns League of Legends side, Origin but also Astralis. So it is not a shocking move to see Astralis accepting the first invite. This is the most probable reason why Astralis have always participated in every Blast Pro Series. Astralis has participated in all five competitions, out of which, remarkably the team has won three. The two they lost were the ones in which they finished in the second place while finished third in the other one.

In 2018, the Danish won a total of 10 titles. While over the years, they have won three Major titles. The Majors, are the prestigious competition of CS: GO. Just like the Worlds of LoL and The International of Dota 2. This just goes to show you the strength of the side in the competitive history of CS: GO.

No Place For Vertigo in Miami

Before the competition in Spain, the organizer also made another announcement regarding Miami. The organizers of the BLAST Pro Series – Miami 2019 will continue to use Cache in the list of tournament maps. They will introduce Vertigo starting from BLAST Pro Series Madrid 2019, which will take place from 10 to 11 May. Representatives of the event reported this on Twitter.

BLAST Pro Series Miami 2019 will take place from April 12 to April 13 in the USA. Six teams will compete for $ 250,000. In the championship in Madrid, as many participants will compete for the same amount, the organizers have already invited Natus Vincere and Astralis to the tournament in Spain.

On March 29, Vertigo replaced Cache in the competitive pool of maps. Professional players and casters ambiguously perceived the change. The first championship where the pros will start using the new map will be the DreamHack Rio de Janeiro 2019. It will take place from April 19 to April 21 in Brazil.

The last tournament of the BLAST series took place in Sao Paulo, Brazil, from March 22–23. In the final Astralis beat Team Liquid with a score of 2: 1 and received $ 125 thousand. The most valuable player of the championship was none other than Nicholas device Ridtts.
